2023 Recipient

Mary Kay Cosmetics – The Look Good Feel Better® Program Look Good Feel Better® recently celebrated their 30-year anniversary and Mary Kay Canada has been part of their journey since day one. In fact, it was one of Mary Kay’s Independent Sales Directors, Sharon Coburn (who sadly lost her 20-year battle to cancer), who helped originate the program. Today, Look Good Feel Better®, with Mary Kay General Manager Lynda Rose as the Chair of the Board of Directors, offers complimentary workshops so people with cancer can learn how to manage the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. Each workshop covers skincare, cosmetics, wigs and hair alternatives and is led by expert volunteers, 60% of which are Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants. The company has also donated products for the kits since the program’s inception. The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation also sponsored a donation match campaign in 2022, which raised a total of $73,997 for Look Good Feel Better®. (Image credit: Mike Pinder Photography)
